Valentine Doll

This is the adorable valentine doll that my friend Les gave me. She has purple hair, a sash with little red hearts, wire crown, her skirt is red velvet with a net slip underneath & her legs are moveable!!! I love her, thanks Les.

Valentine Boxes

These are some fun little boxes that I made for valentines. The boxes are paper mache, I covered the boxes with papers & vintage looking photos.

Oh my gosh...what would one do without girlfriends? I love my girlfriends they are the best. My wonderful friend Lesley or better known to the blog world as the funky art queen has written a rave review of my blogspot. She is the best. I was very hesitant about starting a blog but with much encouragement Lesley pushed me forward. Thanks Les for all your love.
Yesterday was a great day...I received a cute valentine doll from Les for valentine's day. I will try & put a photo up later but you can see it on her blog @ www.thefunkyartqueen.com. The valentine doll that I received is the one with the black & white legs that actually move, don't know how she did that. But thanks Les for thinking of me.

New to the blog world

Ok I finally did it, I created my very own blog site. I had my wonderful dear friend Les (aka: the funky art queen) help me pick a name for my blog. I had several in mind, but I knew she would help me to decide on a blog name that would suit me best. And of course we did choose a great name, Pocket Full of Prettys. Les intoduced me to the world of art, in short she has created a monster. HEE HEE!! So thanks Les for all your help & encouragement.
