Hope you all are having a great 4th of JULY! We don't have any major plans, going to watch fireworks over the lake tonight. I think we will be able to see them from our house, as we live only 1 mile from the lake. Posting this beautiful photo of our great American Flag, I'm proud to be an American. This little island is in a pond in Keene, Tx. I have painted a new canvas with a sweet girl singing her praises to God. I tried several different techniques in this canvas, I was very pleased with the end result.
The canvas below is one I'm very happy with. It is done with beeswax. It has a soft glow to it that I just love. And the beeswax made the house smell so good. 
I did this old suitcase sometime ago but I don't think that I ever posted it. So here it is! This is an old samsonite travel case. I painted "Lucy" on the front and a flower garden on the back. I love this little suitcase. It will soon be for sale in a little shop in Granbury Tx, called The Bella Rosa on highway 377.
And this last little piece is still in progress. I have a few more things I want to do to this piece before it is finished. This is a chunk of wood that measures about 5"x4"x2". I want to add some hardware to this chunk of wood. Plus I may apply beeswax to this piece too.
