Just because friends can, doesn't mean that I can!

I don't know what makes me think I can do everything that my friends can do. I have learned a costly lesson. I must admit that I did't want my great friends to out do me so...I decided that I too could make jewelry. Lisa & Les make the most beautiful jewelry, love their work. So I got busy and oh my gosh...what a mistake that was! I went to the local Hobby Lobby & bought many beads, tools etc. that cost a small fortune! I came home & thought ok, I will make a necklace. Well I started one & it looked awful. So next I decided ok, I will make a bracelet. Well...the glass beads were way too big for the small chain bracelet & looked like huge rocks connected to a chain! So I went back to Hobby Lobby and spent more $$$ to buy more beads & another chain bracelet. I finally got this one to look good, but what a pain in the behind! I most likely will not make any more jewelry! I am way to anal for this! It just about drove me crazy! This is very detailed & too time consuming for me. But I do have a greater respect for those that do make beautiful jewelry. I did list this bracelet on my etsy site if anyone is interested. I think from now on I will stick to my altered art, collage, blocks, etc.....This project really wore me out! Ha! Hope everyone is having a great week. Hugs to you all ***Renea

Oh, no!! Don't stop! Making jewelry is the most fun in the world. I love it and I always go back to it. It's ok to step away from it, but don't quit. The jewelry needs for you to make it. It will miss you. It will think you don't love it!....OK, my work here is done, I think you get my point. I think your new piece is wonderful. Hugs.

Hello!! Don't get descouraged. I went on that Flea Market once to try to sell my stuff and I got zero sold. I'm still working on them... Your arts are so pretty! Hugs, Vanessa

Well, I really love it. But if you don't enjoy it...don't do it. That is what I have learned. Life is too short!@

Well, my dear, I see nothing wrong with the one here - looks darling!

You asked about Andrew...he'll be one month old Sunday and I miss him sooooo much! I spent the first 2 1/2 weeks with him and really bonded ... on my part, at least. We'll see him and little Coy again in a couple weeks. Can't wait!

How is yours coming along? It's been awhile since your last one - each one is like the first, isn't it?

Keep up the good work!
Hugs,
Deborah

I love the canvas with the hanging heart...very original. You always have the best ideas. I can't wait to get my craft room organized and cleaned up so I can start creating again. Also, many blessings on the Baby Girl! Hugs, Michelle
