This is the project that I worked on yesterday. It is a 6x6" wrap around canvas. I placed torn papers on the sides. I am working on rusting some wire & nails so that I can add them to several of my collages. (I am also thinking I can attach some of the fabrics that I got in my art supply swap on the wire.) I used the solution mentioned in the magazine Cloth, Paper, Scissors to rust my wire pieces. The solution consist of bleach & vinegar. I set this solution filled plastic box outside because the smell is very strong. I recently ordered 6x6" canvases from http://www.misterart.com/ & I am very pleased with the canvas. They are much cheaper than buying them at your local craft store. I think the canvases were around $3.00 each. If the local craft store have them here they usually run around $10.00 each. I have been thinking....that when I can sit down & take the time I am going to list some of my art work on etsy. What do you think? It has been a long time since I put anything on etsy. (not sure I even know my password) Yikes!!
