This is the project that I worked on yesterday. It is a 6x6" wrap around canvas. I placed torn papers on the sides. I am working on rusting some wire & nails so that I can add them to several of my collages. (I am also thinking I can attach some of the fabrics that I got in my art supply swap on the wire.) I used the solution mentioned in the magazine Cloth, Paper, Scissors to rust my wire pieces. The solution consist of bleach & vinegar. I set this solution filled plastic box outside because the smell is very strong. I recently ordered 6x6" canvases from http://www.misterart.com/ & I am very pleased with the canvas. They are much cheaper than buying them at your local craft store. I think the canvases were around $3.00 each. If the local craft store have them here they usually run around $10.00 each.
I have been thinking....that when I can sit down & take the time I am going to list some of my art work on etsy. What do you think? It has been a long time since I put anything on etsy. (not sure I even know my password) Yikes!!

Oh, I just love this piece. It evokes passion so beautifully. I keep enlarging it to look at all of the detail. Your work is amazing!! Thanks so much for leaving a lovely comment on my blog...it led me straight to yours!!
Thanks for stopping by my blog. I love your new piece (which you could undoubtedly sell on etsy if you want to). Thanks so much for the fab tip about the canvas. That is a great savings - our local art supply has been out of that size for months. Cheers, Trish
p.s. congrats on your winning a prize in the OHOW giveaways!
Yes, you must list more on Etsy! Your collages are so original. Love 'em! I love visiting your site to see what you are up to! You always inspire my creative side! Michelle (txstitcher)
