Collage of my Mother
This collage is special, it has a special meaning. The woman is my Mother, isn't she beautiful? When she & my Dad got married my Dad was in the Air Force. Shortly after they married my Dad got deployed to Japan & my Mom couldn't go. It was a remote tour & no spouse's were allowed. So my Mom told me that she wrote to my Dad everyday. I have seen some of the letters they wrote to each other & the blue envelope is exactly the same envelope that my Dad used when he sent a letter to my Mom. I love this storey about my parent's. They sent love letters to each other everyday. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary April 5th 2007.

She is beautiful and this is the stuff of Romance Novels but it really happened. This is a beautiful piece of art. Your mom makes a great figure for your work. Hugs.
This is a lovely collage.
I wonder if people still send love letters or have emails become the thing for today’s romances.

Beautiful piece!
Just beautiful! BTW wanted to let you know I have been working on mail art p-cards ...your shoebox ful of goodies has already came in handy! I've been pulling pieces from the box to use, great fun!
The squares are just so amazing aren't they? I keep thinking I should make some type of commentary about these but I just shut up and let the squares speak for themselves...WOW! Radiant beauty! ~Monica

I love her secret little smile she's wearing on her face! Makes you wonder what she's thinking about.....most likely, your daddy!
